“LAFFERTY – In this city, April 21, 1911, William T. Lafferty, beloved husband of Elizabeth Lafferty, father of Alice and Allston Lafferty. Funeral Monday at 2 P.M. from his mother's [Tunis-102] residence, 207 High Street...”

Research Notes

The 1891 census record appears to be correct. But the possibility remains that this might be a different William Lafferty.

The 1892 census record has data errors. At some point in the late 1870s, Priscilla and John C Lafferty appear to have separated. In 1881, she married JOHN LINNEAN (not Lillian). In 1892 Priscilla would be about 39 (born 1853) and William would be about 20 (born 1872). Thus, the ages of Priscilla and William appear to be reversed, and Priscilla appears to be under reporting her age.
