Hi D, just a quick note to let you know that I connected the profile I created for Ernest Frederick Longaker (1907-1982) to your profiles for his parents Ernest Clifton Longaker (1873-1936) and Rose (Kiene) Longaker (1886-1961).  :)
Hi, I'm a direct descendant to the Collett line in Willersey!/Badsey/Melksham areas in Glos/Worcs.

My direct ancestors are William Collett and Nelly Fryer via James Collett and Mary Ingles. I'd love to be able to chat about and share info on our shared ancestry. I've yet to do a dna test, but I can prove descent to these people.

You proposed a merge of Fuller-8920 and Fuller-3127 they do not represent the same person because: different birth years 1779-1810, different birth places-New York-Vermont, parents, spouses, siblings, death dates and places, and children. Nothing remotely close to being duplicate profiles. Please as a courtesy when you edit profiles leave an explanation of changes you made. It saves the time of having to go through the changes log and figuring out what edits were made. Also when Adding parents spouses, changing relationships and especially when removing relationships, contact the Profile manager and discuss the changes, leave an explanation in research notes, add supporting evidence of the relationships with citations. It is Wikitree policy. Until sources can be added to validate the relationship I am removing https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Fuller-13888 as the father of Fuller-8920.

Hi D,

Thanks for all your work on WikiTree. I noticed that you have been creating profiles for a pre-1700 ancestor using only the name of the database in which the source found.

There have been some updates to the Pre-1700 Profile help page and the Pre-1700 Quiz since you took it in November 2018. Please review both and let me know if you have any questions or concerns. You will notice that the wording has been modified to more fully explain the sourcing needed for pre-1700 profiles. Here's a link to an FAQ on citing Ancestry sources which explains where to find the additional data needed.

Thanks,

Debi

Thank you for adding the Beesley lineage. Are you related? This lineage has been YDNA tested and is part of the Beasley Surname Study, Most of our Beasley study lineages have not been entered into WikiTree as we have so much information and it takes quite a bit of work to do it right. My goal is to get all of our YDNA tested pedigrees on WikiTree. This lineage is part of the Yellow Group Haplotype including William Beasley. I'd be glad to share any information we have.

D., Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, thus coordinating with others is essential.

The England Project? seems to fit your ancestors. Leaders are Wendy Sullivan, Susie MacLeod. Click the link to read how to join.

Or use the Pre-1700 Projects list, located at the top of your page, 4th topic on right, under <Find> and <Projects>.

For questions, just ask!

Hi J,

Welcome to WikiTree! The initial email you receive from WikiTree will contain links to help you get started. We hope you will take time to browse the site and check us out.

WikiTree is FREE, and different from other genealogical sites. Our goal is to have one Profile per person, which means we collaborate as a team.

If you would like to join us, add your own family, share research, and collaborate with others, simply confirm your email address, fill out the TAGS on your Profile page, click SAVE TAGS, and VOLUNTEER. (information on Tags can be found at http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Tags). Once you opt to Volunteer, one of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership.

Hope you decide to join us!
