John Lanier was a musician, in England, like the others of his family.[1]
He was born in England about 1594, the son of John Lanier and Frances Galliardello.[2]
John married Elinor around 1630.[3]
They were affiliated with St. Giles Church, Cripplegate, London, and lived in that part of town. They had three children: Frances, Elizabeth and John.[2]
John Lanier died before August 28, 1650, in England. He left everything to Elinor.[4] John and Elinor were buried in the St. Giles churchyard. The bombings of World War II completely destroyed the graveyard and tombstones.[2]
