Welcome! Thanks for wonderful note. You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add profiles to WikiTree. Also please add sources to each of your new profiles.Even if you're just a casual family historian recording family history, you will be helping future genealogists by listing where the information you've added came from.

If you need any help getting started, check out the help section from the menu, top left, or head over to the G2G forum. You might want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.

Hello wikitree volunteers. My name is Kaye, and I have had a great interest in Genealogy well before I knew what a Genealogy was. I found my Great Grandmother's Bible where she had written down her family as far back as she could remember. She had received the Bible in the work house she was placed in after her Mother's death. I understood how important that bit of information was to my Great Grandmother, and I have strived to provide this information to all family members who have come looking. A couple of years ago my aunt, Anita Heidt Wagner published a very well researched genealogy of the Heidt family. She has set the bar very high. I am just beginning to understand the amount of research such an undertaking requires. I would love to be a part of the volunteer research team.

Hi! I see you have uploaded your DNA for comparison. Did you know we have a project for DNA where a lot of great new things are happening? If you are interested and would like to check it out, go to the FIND link top right of your profile page, select PROJECTS from the drop down box, and then select the link for the DNA project. It has information listed that might be of interest to you, and feel free to contact any of the members if you would like additional details.
