I husförhörslängden 1762 (AI:1 sid 21), uppges Jacob 47 år (och sonen Anders vara 12). Den äldste sonen Jacob, som uppges vara 20 år, skulle följdaktligen vara född omkring 1741. Den 17/8 1741 föddes en Jacob, vars far hette Jacob, i Långbrunna i Kristbergs socken. Jag tror att det är rätt barn, för namnet Jacob är inte vanligt. Det här är den enda Jacob som föddes i Kristberg 1740-42 och faderns förnamn stämmer.
