Per Gustav Larsson was born on a farm in Lärsäter in 1862 to the farm hand Lars Gustaf Larsson and his wife Anna Stina Persdotter.[1][2] He was their first child. The little family soon moved to Solberga, where two sisters were born.[3][4] In 1867 they moved to Stakbotorp in Västra Skedvi as crofters under Västlandaholm.[5] In time Per Gustaf had nine younger siblings. Per Gustaf moved out in 1883.[6] He was a farm hand at Uckelsta in Köping parish.[7]
He was married to Alma Nilsson in 1891; their two children were born in 1890 (Elin Eugenia) and 1892 (Gustaf), before Per Gustav was left a widower in 1893. He never remarried, but moved back as a crofter in the immediate neighbourhood of his parents, where his mother Anna-Stina could take care of the children. Per Gustav Larsson worked as a farmhand, lumberjack and stablehand and finally saved enough to buy his own cottage with a small parcel of land near Arboga.
Per Gustaf Larsson died 18 April 1937.[8]
