Biography

When Emmett Eldridge Latham was born on January 6, 1881, in Converse, Louisiana, his father, William, was 28 and his mother, Martha, was 25. He married Christian Elizabeth Russell on February 10, 1907, in Sabine, Louisiana. They had four children in 13 years. He died on June 15, 1948, in Jasper, Texas, at the age of 67, and was buried there.
