Biography

Paul LeBlanc was born 3 Aug 1734. He was the son of Joseph LeBlanc and Anne Bourg. He was baptized the following day at Saint Charles des Mines, Grand-Pré, Acadia. His godparents were Paul Bourg, maternal uncle and Anne LeBlanc of Pineaud. The father signed.[1][2]

He was married in 1758, at Miramichi, to Anne Saint Etienne de La Tour, daughter of Charles and Marguerite RIchard.

They had two children.

  1. Joseph
  2. Anne Adelaide

He passed away at age 36, 21 May 1771 in the middle of the night and was interred in the cemetery of Notre Dame des Ardeliers Church, Miquelon. His wife Anne predeceased him.[3]
