Adelphia Lea (1738-1813). Name also seen incorrectly as Philadelphia Lea, Isabella Delphia Lea, Adelphia Ann Lea, and other variations. [1]

Adelphia Lea was born c.1748 the daughter of James Lea and Ann Herndon in St. George's Parish, Spotsylvania County, Virginia, and died 03 Jan 1813 in the Sardis Church area of Wilkes County, Georgia. Adelphia Lea married Joseph Henderson c. 1770, and they had: [2]

The Find a Grave Memorials for Joseph Henderson and wife Adelphia Lea are wrong. I have asked for corrections and that they use the sourced material from Caswell County Historical Society and Spirit in the South by Cynthia Forde. Right now they have Joseph connected to two wives.
