Biography

Pauline was born September 29th 1901 in DC. She married John Mills about 1919 and had 1 son. John was killed when he was struck by a train.

Pauline’s second husband, James Paul McKenny, the son of James P. McKenny Sr. and Mary E. King, was born September 29th 1902. Jimmy and Pauline were married November 16th 1925. They were living in Landover Hills, Maryland at the time of their marriage. They had two children.

Her brother Clarence is listed on the 1930 census as living with her and her second husband Jimmy McKenny. In 1940 her brother George and mother Annie were living with them.

Pauline died August 14th 1978, at the age of 76. She is buried in Ft. Lincoln Cemetery, Brentwood, Maryland. Jimmy died sometime before Pauline.

Obituary:
McKENNY, PAULINE M. On August 14, 1978, of Riverdale, Md., beloved wife of the late James P. McKenny; mother of Margaret Acton, James P. McKenny Jr., and John W. Mills; sister of George Leckliter. Seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren also survive. Friends may call at Gasch’s Funeral Home, 4737 Baltimore ave., Hyattsville, Md., from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Saint Jerome’s Catholic Church, Hyattsville, Md., on Saturday, August 19 at 10 a.m. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery. Prayers at the above funeral home 7:30 p.m. Friday
