Biography

Jean Baptiste Leduc, son of Jean Baptiste Leduc and Marguerite Deshaies, was born on March 21, 1737 and baptized the next day in the parish La Nativité-de-Notre-Dame-de-Bécancour, Bécancour, Nouvelle-France. His godfather was François Ligot who has signed and his godmother was Jeanne Marcheteau who have not signed. [1]

Jean Baptiste Leduc, son of the late Jean Baptiste Leduc and Marie Marguerite Deshaies, married on January 12, 1761 Marie Marguerite Houle, daughter of François Houle and late Marie Marguerite Faucher, at the parish La Nativité-de-Notre-Dame-de-Bécancour, Bécancour, Nouvelle-France. [2] [3]

Jean Baptiste had 10 children with Marie Marguerite Houle:

Jean Baptiste Leduc, husband of Marie Houle died on March 19, 1810 and was buried the next day in the cemetery of parish La Nativité-de-Notre-Dame-de-Bécancour, Bécancour, Bas-Canada. [4] [5]
