Biography

Ambrose Lee (Lea) was born about 1746 in St. Georges Parish, Spotsylvania, Virginia to parents Ambrose Lee and Frances Penn. He married Frances Wheeler on 10 Aug 1779 in Caswell, North Carolina. Children: Rebecca, Jeremiah W, Sarah, Nancy, John, Moses, David A, Rebecca, William H. He died about 1803 in Chester, South Carolina.
