Hi Bruce,

Congratulations on being Pre-1700 certified! Based on your ancestors, it looks like you’re going to be working on profiles that fall under several Projects. I'm here to help you find one that best fits your needs.

Start by thinking about the particular time periods, locations, and topics in which you're interested. Do you have some historically-significant ancestors? Take a look at the list of active projects for examples of what we have going on.

If you see one that's just right, go ahead and join. Otherwise, let me know what you're looking for and I'll see what I can find.

Hi Bruce, You are now a member of the WikiTree Community - We are building One Collaborative Tree, with just one profile per person, so it is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add Profiles to WikiTree.

If you have pre-1700's ancestors to add, please read our Pre-1700 profiles info. Please, be sure to include a list of the sources used, on each profile you add.

If you need any help getting started check out the Help Index or the G2G forum - Good luck growing your branches, Patt

I will volunteer the information I have found over several years of genealogical research. I look forward to collaborating with other members of the group to extend my understanding of my own family.

Hello & Welcome, to WikiTree! We're growing a FREE worldwide family tree, striving for ONE collaborative profile per person.

"Sources are critically important for genealogy. Some even say that genealogy without sources is mythology. Even if you're just a casual family historian recording modern family history, you will be helping future genealogists by listing where the information you've added came from." Feel free to ask questions at our G2G forum. Also, our help pages menu, top right, has some very useful information. Our Honor Code is why our community is such a friendly place to grow your family tree, so please take some time to read it. Want to join us? Check the volunteer box and leave a brief comment about your genealogical journey. Happy researching Kern Brogan
