Biography

Jacob A. Leedy was born on 17 Dec 1817 in Bedford County, Pennsylvania, United States. He was the son of Abraham Leedy and Elizabeth Zook. He married Susannah Bostetter on 29 Jun 1843 in Knox County, Ohio. They made their living by farming and lived in Knox County, Ohio, in 1850 and in Hancock County, Ohio, from 1860 until they died. They had nine children including Ezra, Hiram, Lorina, Mary, Elijah, and Byron. Jacob passed away on 20 Oct 1878 in West Independence, Hancock, Ohio, and is buried in the Union Cemetery, West Independence, Hancock County, Ohio, USA.

Leedy-46 and Leedy-180 appear to represent the same person because: Birth date, parents, and siblings all the same. Leedy-180 appears to have more complete info so I would recommend merging and additional information from Leedy-46 into Leedy-180 and remove Leedy-46.
