Catharine Elizabeth (Leedy) Swank was born on 12 Dec 1819 in Bedford County, Pennsylvania, United States. She was the daughter of Daniel Leedy and Susannah Holsinger. Catharine married Casper Swank on 23 Apr 1840 in Richland County, Ohio. They had five sons. Catherine and Casper were members of the German Baptist Church of Ankenytown, Ohio. Catherine passed away on 19 Jul 1884 (aged 64) in Richland County, Ohio. She is buried in the Owl Creek Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Ankenytown, Knox County, Ohio, USA.
