Biography

Rebecca was born in 1754 in Hunterdon, New Jersey, USA. She was the daughter of Isaac Leet Sr and Rebecca (Vaughn) Leet.^[1]

Rebecca's father served in the Revolutionary War in New Jersey and later took his family to Washington County, Pennsylvania.^[2]

In 1781, Rebecca married Enoch Dye, who served in the Revolutionary War in the 3rd Battalion of Pennsylvania Militia, led by Captain William Leet. Enoch was born 1753 in Pennsylvania and died 6 Jan 1830 in Canton Township, Washington, Pennsylvania.^[1]

Rebecca died at the age of 86 on 5 October 1840 in Canton Township, Washington, Pennsylvania, USA.^[1]
