Research Notes

Various records (no primary sources) state that he was born in France, or that his grandfather was born there. No extant records have been located to indicate this.

He is not to be confused with Minard (LeFevre) LeFever (1744-1800), his first cousin. He also lived in New Jersey.

Hi, the bio mentions an 1836 probate record that names all of his heirs and their spouses. Can you please share the information from it?
I added my transcription of the court minutes and corrected the date of the reference (should have been 1837). Thanks
