Biography

Marie Legault was born on 9 March, 1871. Her parents were Augustin Legault and Josephine Legare.

Joseph Charles Deschamps, aged 21, married Marie Legault, aged 20, on 16 May, 1897 in St Isidore, Prescott, Ontario, Canada. Both sets of parents attended St Isidore de Prescott. ^[1]

Marie died while under the care of Dr. R Gagne, in the Ottawa General Hospital. Marie was in hospital from 6 November, 1943 - 13 November, 1943 for anemia, denutrtion (malnutrition). arthritis and cachexia (general physical wasting and malnutrition usually associated with chronic disease, cancer). Marie passed away on 13 November, 1943.

The Undertakers, T Lawrence and Sons, Alfred Ontario conducted the burial on 14 November, 1943 in St Isidore de Prescott, Ontario, Canada.
