Biography

Elizabeth's siblings are Mercy Leonard and Samuel Leonard (b. ca. 1683). In 1718 her father 'of Preston' sold to Thomas Clark of Norwich, husband of Elizabeth, his rights to 'all ye commons and unlaid out lands in Preston.'

Probate

{This profile and other online trees seem to have her death date as 25 September 1746, however, I haven't found a source for this date. The death date has been changed to reflect the probate records.}

  • She is mentioned in her husband's estate distribution in 1752. (see his profile for will and estate distribution with sources)
  • Her inventory was completed on 13 December 1759 in Norwich.[1]
  • On 4 March 1760, the court orders the distribution set out to her son Thomas (eldest), the children of Joseph, decd., the children of Mary, decd., Elizabeth Geer, wife of Benajah Geer of Coventry, and Ruth, wife of Stephen Geer of Preston.[2]

Leonard-7972 and Leonard-116 appear to represent the same person because: They have the same name and death date. The sources also reference the same people
Leonard-116 and Leonard-701 appear to represent the same person because: Same family members. May need to coordinate dates.
