Solomon is shown as a son of John Lewis, Sr. and Priscilla Brooks. I question whether he is a son of John Lewis, Sr.

1. He is not shown in the Lewis Bible, but all of the other 8 children are. 2. Solomon is also shown being born in a county in North Carolina with which it appears that John Lewis, Sr. had no connection. 3. John mentions all seven of his living children shown in his bible in his Will, but he does not mention Solomon.

Does anyone have any evidence supporting the birth of a son Solomon? Does anyone know who Solomon's father ?

One part of this record lists 9 descendents of John Lewis Sr. but then an itemized list only has 8 descendents - leaving off Solomon Lewis. The will also does not include all the descendents. How can I investigate the differences?

This is probably because the children shown in the Biography are the ones listed in the Lewis Bible, and Solomon is not shown there, although all the other children are. Someone probably added Solomon without verifying that he is a children of this John Lewis. I'll ask the Profile Manager for Solomon what the proof of parentage is.
