Dau. of Benedikt Barbara LOESER, per Mott (trustworthy); or she may have been a STEINBRUCH, per Gary Dickey, p. 19.

Alt. spellings LISCHER, LOESCHER, LUSER, LOOSER, LEASER (there is now a Leaser Lake in Albany Tp dammed from a tributary to the Ontelaunee Creek).

Possible father or relative: A Nicholaus LÖSCHERT / LESCHER immigrated 1723 on the Globe (signed the ship’s contract) from Lambsheim, Pfalz where 4 children were baptized 1697-1704; he and wife Maria Johanna sold property there 20 Mar 1723 and 13 Apr 1723; they show in Oley Valley in Berks Co 1729 as LESHER, he died there 1749.
