Biography

Domenico Liggio is born around 1800 in Corleone, the son of Girolamo Liggio and Giuseppa Ferro.

Early in 1834, Domenico, 34 (b. 1800) lives with his widowed mother, Giuseppa, age 51 (b. 1783), and his older brother Salvatore, 36 (b. 1798), under the arch near the hospital.^[1]

Domenico marries Antonina di Miceli on 22 June 1834. According to this record, his parents have both died by this time.

Domenico and Antonina have at least three children, Giuseppa (1837),^[2] Girolamo (c. 1846), Michaele (c. 1851).

I estimate Girolamo is born around 1846, twenty years before he marries.

I have estimated Michaele is the same age as his wife, born in 1851.

These estimate are both probably on the young end, for men at first marriage.

Girolamo marries Antonina Coniglio on 7 January 1866. Domenico has died by this time.

Michaele marries Biagia Cascio on 13 April 1874. Antonina is still living at this time.
