Biography

Mary Susannah Lightbourn was born in 1821 in the Bahamas to Paul Lightbourn[1] and Sarah Petty.

Mary Susannah Lightbourn married Thomas Kingsbury Moore, son of Captain Thomas Moore and Charity Eliza Saunders Moore, about 1840. She was his second wife. The couple had children Thomas Paul, Julia Octavia, Mary Elizabeth Margaret, John Blackwell, Ida Sarah, Ernest Kingsbury, Edwin Labron, Caroline Harper, Robert James, Sarah, Albert Francis, and Roger Moore.

Mary S Moore was appointed Executrix of her husband's will, which was proved 28 June 1864. Robert H Sawyer was appointed Executor.

Mary Susannah Lightbourn Moore died 9 April 1897 in the City of Nassau at 77 years of age.
