Biography
Johnathan Lindley was born Ninety Six District, South Carolina in 1772. He married Nancy M. Blair in 1796 in South Carolina, they had eight children. Johnathan died in 1850 in Cobb County, Georgia. he is buried in Powder Springs Baptist Cemetery. His son Johnathan Jr. owned the land that the Cemetery is on.
Johnathan and his son Elijah Hamilton Lindley are mentioned as pioneers of Cobb County who settled there after it was ceded by the Cherokee.
