Biography
J. T. Lipe was born on 14 Jul 1906 in Dardanelle, Yell, Arkansas, United States, son of Joseph Edwin Lipe (1881 - 1955) and Nellie Teresa (Barnett) Lipe (1882 - 1966).
His brother was Newton O'Neal Lipe (1904 - 1943).
In the 1910 census J.T. (age 3) was the single son of Joe E Lipe in Dardanelle, Yell, Arkansas, United States.[1]
In the 1920 census J.T. (age 14) was the single son of Joe E Lipe in Wilson, Yell, Arkansas.[2]
J.T. married Georgeanna White (born in Nashville, Davidson, Tennessee, United States on 21 May 1909; died in La Jolla, San Diego, San Diego on 25 Mar 2012) on 2 Sep 1932 in Nashville.
In the 1940 census J.T. (age 34), Medical Doctor, was the married head of household in San Diego, San Diego, California.[3]
In the 1950 census J.T. (age 44) was the married head of household in San Diego, San Diego, California, United States.[4]
J.T. died on 7 Feb 1990 in San Diego aged 83.[5][6][7][8]
