Bernardo Lisotta is born around 1799 in Corleone, the son of Teodoro Lisotta and Lucia Trumbatore.
In the 1802 Church census of the Borgo in Corleone, Teodoro Lisotta, 41 (b. 1761), heads a household with Lucia, his wife, 34 (b. 1768), and children: Giuseppe, 16 (b. 1786), Rosalia, 14 (b. 1788), Maria, 12 (b. 1790), Bernardo, 3 (b. 1799), and Liboria, 1 (b. 1801).[1]
Bernardo marries Pietra d’Anna, daughter of Vincenzo d’Anna and Vincenza Ridulfo, on 18 May 1820.[2]
Bernardo and Pietra have at least four children: Teodoro (c. 1822), Giovanni (c. 1825) Lucia (1834), and Giuseppa (1837).
