Bertha May Brinker, 96, formerly of Vienna, died Nov. 9 in Worthington Manor Care Center following an extended illness.
She was born in Wirt County, a daughter of the late Obediah and Sarah Cox Lockhart. She was a member of the Vienna Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Harold Ray Brinker of Vienna; one daughter, Doris Brinker Frohock of Vienna; one brother, Bacil C. Lockhart of Parkersburg; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services were Nov. 12 at the Vaughn Funeral Home with the Rev. S. Ward Robinnson officiating. Burial was in the Two Run Cemetery, Wirt County.
