John was born Jan. 8, 1780 in Washington County, Maryland, USA the son of John & Anna (Bunn) Long. John died Jun. 25, 1855[1] and is buried in Ridenour Cemetery, Berlin Township, Knox County Ohio, USA [2]
He married Susannah Leedy in 1802 in Bedford County, Pennsylvania. Together the had over twenty children:
