Birth and death dates are from An Ancestry tree no longer accessible.

Problem

According to ancestry.com, Elizabeth (b 1778 d 1840)married John Shaft (b 1778 d aft 1850.), the son of Johann Peter Schaaff, b 1753 d 1819. Elizabeth's father had served in the French Imperial Army under Napoleon and later emigrated to America.[2]

Loop-27 and Loop-28 appear to represent the same person because: I believe this is the same person. The spouse name is slightly different, but the birth dates and places match and the one child appears to be the same.
