Biography
966. Augustus Peabody Loring, Jr. {Augustus P., Caleb W., Charles G., Caleb, Caleb, Caleb, John, Thomas), born at Boston April 16, 1885; married at Jamaica Plain June 22, 1911, Rosamond, daughter of Alfred and Mary L. (Rice) Bowditch, born there May 2, 1889. He attended Noble and Greenough's School in Boston; was graduated from Harvard, A.B. in 1908; studied law and entered Mr. Bowditch's office for the management of estates. He lives at Pride's Crossing; has been common councilman and alderman of Beverly and chairman of the planning board. Takes an active part in the Republican organization. He is a thirty-second degree Mason. He is second lieutenant in the Beverly Company of Home Guards, 1917.
