Biography

Buena Vista Lowe was born on October 3, 1878, in Pike County, Kentucky, to presumed parents Margarett Paulina Maynard and James Pryor "Pry" Lowe.[1]

Using her middle name, Vista was first married to Greenstreet Maynard,[2] circa 1896.[2] This union produced 5 children:[2] daughters Lillie, Virgie, and Zettie, and sons Ossie and Sterling.

On July 25, 1907, in Pike County, Vista married George Washington Runyon.[3] This union produced 6 children: daughters Dixie, Louise, Viola, and Birdie; and sons Adrion and Amos.[4]

Vista is presumed to have died on June 15, 1966, in Borderland, West Virginia. She is buried in Maynard Cemetery, in Varney, Kentucky.[1]
