Private Joseph Lowell served with General Stark's Brigade, New Hampshire Militia during the American Revolution.

Joseph Lowell, son of John and Mary (Davis) Lowell, was born May 8, 1720 at Haverhill, MA. ^[1] (p. 30) ^[2]

He married about 1745, Martha Bradbury who was born in Salisbury, MA on Feb. 3, 1727, daughter of John and Hannah (Greeley) Bradbury. ^[2][3] (p. 35)^[4](p. 79) ^[5] (p. 44; pp. 84-5)^[6]
