LUDY, OMAR W. 424Vi S. James St. Funeral services for Omar W. Ludy who died this morning will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Dorrell Funeral Home with the Rev. Raymond L. Norton officiating. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Crystal Springs Cemetery in Benton Harbor. Friends may begin calling at the Dorrell Funeral Home Thursday evening.

Omar Ludy - Standing top Right in uniforn. Taken By Death Omar W. Ludy, 89, of 42414 S. James St. died at 10:15 a.m. today at the home of Mrs. Lora Futrell of 808 N. James St. where he had been residing for the past month. Born Feb. 23, 1875, in Pennsylvania, Mr. Ludy married Anna McAntosh in 1892 in Michigan. Mr. Ludy made his home in Benton Harbor, retiring from the New York Central Railroad in 1940. He moved to Ludington in June 1963. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Henry (Esther) Smith of Ludington, Mrs. Harold (May) Brockhouse of Ludington, Mrs. Burr (Isabelle) Taylor of Los Angeles, Mrs. Howard (Ruby) Messner of California and Mrs. Dorra McClure of Benton Harbor; two sons, Harry Ludy of Indianapolis, Ind., and Len H. Fischer of Hinsdale, 111.; 27 grandchildren, 80 great grandchildren, 16 great-great grandchildren; one brother, Clarence of Benton Harbor; three sisters, Mrs. Carrie Keller of Watervliet, Mrs. Gennie Slater of Sarasota, Fla., and Mrs. Stella Stillwell of Sarasota, Fla. Funeral services will be helc at 10 a.m. Friday at the Dorrell Funeral Home in Ludington.
