"Thomas is the son of Ephraim and Elizabeth Patterson Lundy. Her father is John Patterson. Some speculation is being made about there being Quaker records available. Ephraim is the son of Thomas & Joanna Doane Lundy, both of whom have books written about their families going back to Colonial days. We can be grateful to the people around the turn of the 20th Century who did this exhaustive, and fairly accurate work. Ephraim's probate record is available at the Lycoming County Deeds & Records office. It is somewhat legible with many legal terms that render it frustrating to decipher, but it does mention some of his children.

The Doane Family of America provides Joanna's lineage back to the Deacon John Done who came to the colonies in 1630."
