Biography

Birth and Parentage

Elizabeth was the daughter of William Lunsford and Thomasine Barrington.[1][2] Marlyn Lewis estimates her birth date as about 1445.[3]

Marriage & Children

She married Thomas Knyvett, son of John Knyvett. and Margery Baynard, before 4 November 1462.[1][2] They had at least three children:

Death

She died on 4 July 1471 and was buried at Yoxford, Suffolk.[1][2]

I have made a number of editorial changes in a series of edits. I have deleted the birthplace of Lunsford, Sussex, which comes from Marlyn Lewis, who says she was born "at of Lunsford", which does not mean "at": it means merely that her family were associated with Lunsford, not that she was necessarily born there. Where there appears to be evidence for a birthplace, Marlyn Lewis uses "at" not "at of".
