Joseph Lunt was born at Newbury, Massachusetts on September 29, 1804, son of Nathaniel and Elenor Lunt. [1]
He married Anna Knight on December. 1, 1831 at Newbury. [2] Anna was born there on August 21, 1803, daughter of Adams Knight and Alice Little. [1]
Joseph is buried in the First Parish Burying Ground at Newbury with a death noted on his headstone as April 21, 1872.[3]
Anna is buried there with a death noted on her headstone as July 25, 1875. [4]

Joseph Austin, son of Joseph and Ann born on December 29, 1832 [1]; married Emma J Hale on January 5, 1867. [5]
Charles Moody son of Joseph and Ann born on January 27, 1836 [1]; married Ellen P. Coleman at Newbury on April 1, 1858. [6]
