Mary DAISY Luttrell was the daughter of George Washington Luttrell, Sr and Martha Ann Thornton-Luttrell. Mary DAISY Luttrell was the youngest daughter; she had two younger brothers. Mary DAISY Luttrell first met her husband William Riley Crow when the two families lived in Jasper Township, Camden County, Missouri. When the two families moved to the Washington County Missouri area they all attended church together. Mary DAISY Luttrell-Crow was very close to her daddy; she considered herself a daddy's girl. She measured all the men in her life by the long shadow her daddy casted. Her father G.W. Luttrell signed for her to marry Bill Crow. Mary DAISY Luttrell was very outspoken, she had strong opinions, she took no guff from anyone. Mary Daisy Luttrell Crow stood barely 5 foot tall. She had dark brown hair, and big, blue eyes that were so deep blue they were almost violet in color sometimes.

Mary Daisy Luttrell-Crow said that her dad George Washington Luttrell, Sr said she basically named herself. She never explained what that meant.
