Biography
Robert Lyons was born on March 24, 1790 in Cornwallis, Nova Scotia, Canada, the son of David Lyons (abt. 1759–1812) and Elizabeth Ratchford (1762–1843). His Birth date was listed in the Lyons family Bible of Roy E. Lyons, Jr.; Recorded at his home on Scots Bay Road, Canning, Nova Scotia by Marsha Auger on April 15, 1979.
Robert Lyons, the son of David and Betsey Lyons, was Baptized on 5 July 1795 in Horton, Nova Scotia. [1]

Robert Lyons (23), the son of David and Elizabeth Lyons, married Elizabeth Skinner (23) (born November 11, 1789; daughter of Charles Skinner Sr. (1748–abt. 1837) and Sarah (Osborne) Skinner (1760–1848)) on October 7, 1813 in Cornwallis Township, Kings, Nova Scotia. [2] [3]

Their son, Robert Jones Lyons, was born about 1823 , and he died on 29 March 1886.
Their son, Noble J. Lyons, 39, and Mary Jane Winsby, 25, were married in 1872 in Berwick, Kings, Nova Scotia. [5]
Robert J. Lyons, 76, died on 15 January 1867 in Springwille, Kings, Nova Scotia, Canada. He was born about 1791 in Cornwallis. [6]
