Sarah and John Nichols had six children, some born before they were married. Older children were adopted by John Nichols. 1) Nancy Lytle b. 1785 in Orange, North Carolina, adopted by John Nichols. married John Dupree, 1796, in Nashville, Davidson, Tennessee. 2) Keziah Lytle was born in 1780/1790 in Orange, Tennessee. was adopted by John Nichols. Keziah Lytle Nichols married Josiah Woodbridge, 1806, in Nashville, Davidson, Tennessee. 3) John Lytle, was born 1788 in Orange County, North Carolina. He was adopted by John Nichols. 4) Susannah Nichols was born c1790. She married Henry Ingram 1808, in Davidson, Tennessee. 5) Harrison Nichols was born in 1794, in Davidson County, Tennessee. He died in 1797/1817 in Davidson County, Tennessee. 6) Alfred Nichols was born, 1796, in Nashville, Davidson, Tennessee. Alfred married Rebecca Ford in 1815 in Nashville, Davidson, Tennessee.
