Biography

Martin was born in 1868. He passed away in 1952 due to a cerebral hemorrhage. Martin is buried at Starcher Cemetery in Calhoun County, West Virginia.[1][2]

Martin married Indiana Starcher in 1891.[3] They had five children before she died in 1906.[4]

Martin married Rebecca Roberts in 1916.[5] They had four children.

For most of his life he was a farmer, both personally and professionally. He eventually became an overseer for larger farming operations. (Conclusion from a complication of all census records for Sam)

Relationship

Martin and Indiana are second cousins. There grandmothers were sisters, Sarah Coger and Phoebe Coger.
