Biography

Jabish Breed Main was the eighth child of Content (Bromley) Main (1745-1825), the second wife of Jonas Main (1736-1804). His birth date may have been 4 or 6 July, 1774.

He married 15 Mar 1795 at North Stonington, Connecticut, Freelove Edwards, with whom he had 13 children.

Jabish Breed Maine died 30 Oct 1856, and was interred in Maine Cemetery, North Stonington, New London County, Connecticut, USA: Find A Grave: Memorial #20695979

Jabish's last name on his grave memorial page is spelled "Maine."
