There is a record of a Nancy Eledge marrying a Robert Presley in January 1872. Was Nancy married between 1860 and 1872? I cant find a record of the 1870 census for her under any name.

1880 Census, for Davis, Van Buren, Arkansas, has Robert F (50), with wife Nancy C (37), and children (From Margaret) Fannie E (18), Thomas (13), James R (11), (From Nancy) Franklin (5), Jesse (3), and Lewis T (2/12, so born in April 1880), along with Joseph Bynum, white male age 18, listed as farm hand. ^[3]

In the 1900, 1910, and 1920 census, she is listed as living with her son Louis. ^[4][5][6]
