Biography

Esther (Marion) Mitchell was a South Carolina colonist.

Esther Marion was born around 1722 in Berkeley County, South Carolina. She was a daughter of Gabriel Marion Sr. and Esther Cordes. She was a sister to General Francis Marion, the Swamp Fox.^[1][2]

Around 1740, she married John Allston of Prince George's Parish, planter.^[1][2] The children of Esther and John Allston were:^[1][2]
