Deborah married Benjamin Hinshaw 15 Sept 1774, Cane Creek MM, North Carolina. Benjamin, son of Jesse Hinshaw and Abigail Marshall, was born 02 Oct 1749, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. To this union were born:
William Hinshaw (1775-1783)
Abigail Hinshaw (1777-1783)
Hannah Hinshaw (1779-1844)

"Friends appointed to attend the marriage of Benjamin Hinshaw and Deborah Marshall report it was orderly accomplished".
Benjamin Hinshaw died 24 July 1779, buried 26 July 1779, Cane Creek MM, Snow Camp, North Carolina.
After Benjamin died, and after a suitable period of mourning, Deborah, on 18 May 1786 remarried to Stephen Hobson. Stephen, son of George Hobson and Hannah Kinnison, was born 05 Mar 1742, Frederick County, Virginia. This was Stephen's third marriage (he had previously married Ann Barnes, then Mary Crew). To this union were born:
Jacob Hobson.
Benjamin Hobson.
Mary Hobson.
Rebecca Jane Hobson.
Isaac Hobson; married Ruth Hinshaw.
Deborah Hobson.
Deborah Marshall passed away 20 July 1814, Cane Creek MM, North Carolina; buried Rocky River.
