Biography

When Ella Etter Marshall was born on December 15, 1866, in Arkansas, her father, William, was 46, and her mother, Charlotte, was 42. She married James Robert Stokes and they had two children together. She then married Samuel Powell Holt and they had eight children together. She died on December 8, 1925, in Washington, Arkansas, at the age of 58, and was buried in Lincoln, Arkansas.
