Donald was born in 1906. He was the son of John Marshall and Mary Giblett. He passed away in 1944. [1]
Donald enlisted in the Australian Army during WW2.[2] He became a Japanese POW at the fall of Singapore and died in captivity in 1944. He is buried in the Kranji War Cemetery in Singapore.[3]
Donald's name appears on the Roll of Honour at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.[4]
