Biography
Thomas was born in 1778. He was the son of Thomas J. Martin Sr. and Rachel (Caffery) Martin. Otter Creek, Bedford, Virginia. Thomas married Elizabeth Slinker on 18 November 1799 in Bedford.[1]
After they were married they went to Hawkins Tennessee. In the 1799 census, Thomas was in Hawkins County, TN.[2]
In the 1840 census, Thomas was in Hawkins, Tennessee.[3]
Thomas died in 1847 and was buried in Hickory Cove Baptist Church Cemetery, Rogersville, Hawkins County, Tennessee, United States.[4] Thomas's will passed probate on 5 July 1847 in Hawkins, Tennessee, United States.[5]
