Biography
Charles was born 12 Sep 1886[1] to parents Edwin L. Martin and Lucy Stumbaugh.[2] Charles was living with his grandparents in Rock Creek, Nemaha, Kansas during the 1900 census.[3] Charles was a Marine Officer living on 9th Street in San Diego, San Diego, California during the 1920 census.[4] During the 1930 census, Charles lived on Hawley Boulevard in San Diego and was retired as a Captain from the U.S.M.C. as a Veteran of WWII. Both his parents were born in Pennsylvania.[5] In the 1940 census he had his son, Charles Jr. living with him on West Vole View Drive in Vista, San Diego, California.[6]
Charles married Mary in Santa Ana, California.[7]
Charles died 29 Apr 1948 at Los Angeles County, California.[8]
