Note
Note: Email, from Genevieve Netz. <gnetz51@gmail.com> 13 May 2011. Genevieve wrote: "'Isaac Martin', who obviously is Lucinda's father in the 1860 census, was listed as 'Israel Martin' in every other census where I can find him -- 1840, 1850, and 1870. This indicates to me that his real name was indeed Israel Martin, and the census taker recorded his name incorrectly as Isaac in 1860...Israel Martin settled in central Ohio, in the area that became Ashland County, and he was in that vicinity from at least 1840-1860. Elizabeth seems to have died between 1850 and 1860. By 1870, all the children but the youngest son (Harrison) had left, and Israel had moved to Van Wert County, Ohio. I think another son (Washington) was also living in that county."
