Biography

Nathaniel C. Mason was born between 1799-1800 in Windsor, Sussex County, Virginia. (Both: Find-A-Grave and his death record have that he was born in 1799 but both could be estimated). On October 17, 1830 he married Mary Mitchell (1813–1867) in Morgan, Ohio.^[1](Note: the marriage record has Mary H. Minshall; but she is linked on find-a-grave as Mary Mitchell). He is listed with Mary on both: the 1850 Census^[2] and the 1860 Census^[3] in Truro Township, Franklin, Ohio. The following children are listed on the census reports but only two are linked on find-a-grave:

Nathaniel passed away in September of 1875 at the age of 76 in Reynoldsburg, Truro Township, Franklin, Ohio.^[4] He is buried in the Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Reynoldsburg, Franklin County, Ohio.^[5]
